Renewal of vows is one of my favourite things to write. There's no nervous "are we doing this?" energy, just two people who have already chosen each other once and want to do it again, on purpose, in front of the people who've watched them get there.
Whether you're marking a big anniversary, celebrating a second chapter after something hard, or finally having the wedding you didn't get the first time around, this is a ceremony that earns its tears.
A celebration of love that has stood the test of time.
Why Couples Renew Their Vows
A few of the moments that bring couples to me:
-
A milestone anniversary worth marking properly (10, 20, 25, 40, 50, 60 years and counting)
-
The first wedding was a whirlwind register office moment and now you want the celebration with all your people
-
You eloped, and now the family is ready to be there
-
You came through something hard together and want to recommit out loud
-
The kids have grown up and you finally have time to do this for the two of you
-
You just love being married and want a really good excuse for a party
Whatever the reason, your renewal is yours.

What a Renewal Ceremony Can Look Like
There's no rulebook for a renewal, which is the joy of it. Some couples want the whole works (white dress, full guest list, big reception). Others want twelve people, a beach, and a glass of fizz afterwards. Others want their grown-up children to read the readings their parents read at the original wedding.
I've heard them all and written them all. Tell me what would mean the most to you and we'll build it.
How We'll Work Together
Same as a wedding. Free first chat, booking, planning meeting, drafting, rehearsal if wanted, the day itself, presentation script afterwards. The full process is laid out on the wedding page if you'd like to see the detail.
